“The city of the Guggenheimˮ is an alternative name for this Basque Country destination as, since this original museum was built in 1997, Bilbao has been transformed forever. In fact, now it stands out for its groundbreaking structures created by prestigious architects, and which make it an international reference for modern design.
Use the day to visit the Guggenheim, walk the old quarter and the so called "seven streets" full of bars where to enjoy delicious pintxos, walk along the estuary and see the many bridges crossing the city, see the soccer stadium called the "cathedral", get to know the Deusto university, go to Get and see the Hanging Bridged, the oldest in Europe still in use...
OLD TOWN OF BILBAO
THE HISTORY OF BILBAO STARTS HERE
In order to understand the fundation and history of Bilbao, we will walk through the narrow streets of the Old Town, exploring the highlights such as PLAZA NUEVA, CATEDRAL DE SANTIAGO, LA RIBERA MARKET, SAN ANTON CHURCH
My local guide, is great delving with people and will be able to share local insights to this tour, giving his local point of view of the city. He'll also tell you about hidden corners and places where only locals go.
A wonderful walk of about 20 minutes starting in the Old Town and going through Abandoibarra, will take us directly to the GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM (tickets and a tour inside the museum are included).
Use this day to visit:
The villages of Santillana Del Mar, part of the northern route of the Camino de Santiago, a pedestrian village you'll love. In the outskirts you have the popular prehistoric Altamira caves.
The villages of Comillas, another coastal village that has the capricho building by Gaudi, a MUST SEE in northern Spain.
The villages of San Vicente de la Barquera, a tiny coastal village with a great parish church, a castle and a wonderful old quarter.
Cosgaya is a Spanish town in the municipality of Camaleño, situated in the comarca of Liébana, located in the furthermost area to the west of Cantabria. The town lies on the right bank of the Deva River. In 2006 it had a population of 47 (INE).
It is divided in three rural neighbourhoods: Areños, Treviño and Cosgaya
Use this day to visit coastal villages around you such as Ribadesella, Lastres and its beautiful lighthouse or Tazones, to mention some. Highly recommended the hidden beach of Gulpiyuri. Another option is to visit the Covadonga sanctuary and the little chapel inside the cave hosting the patroness of all Asturians, the Virgin of Covadonga.
You will be picked up at your hotel and will be taken to Covadonga, where youʼll visit the Sanctuary and the little chapel inside the cave where the Virgin of Covandonga, patroness of all Asturians, is. Then youʼll be taken to the lakes and walk for a little while to enjoy the great sceneries in the Picos de Europa mountains. Later youʼll be taken to Cangas de Onís to enjoy a light lunch (we'll recommend you a restaurant where you can taste some local specialities) and a short tour through the village. Finally youʼll be taken back to your hotel.
Covadonga is the place where the Re-conquest began under king Pelayo, whose remains are buried in the cave alongside La Santina. This is the gateway to the Picos de Europa National Park. The basilica, alongside the cave where pilgrims venerate the statue of La Santina, is a place of worship and pilgrimage for the people of Asturias. The basilica is in neo-Romanesque style, with two high towers flanking the main entrance.
In the heart of the oldest National Park in Spain, you will find an extraordinary place which is steeped in legend: the Covadonga Lakes. Let yourself be seduced by the beautiful, twisty road that leads to the lakes and which will slowly reveal a beautiful countryside made up of calm waters, unimaginable green carpets and mountain peaks which all seem to be almost within reach. Separated by the fell of the Picota, Enol and Ercina are two of the lakes in this, one of the most famous and mythical corners in Asturias.
Capital of the area of the same name, sits in the valley formed by the rivers Sella and Güeña. The most representative feature of the town is its Roman Bridge, declared to be a Historic-Artistic Site in 1931. It has five arches, three of them pointed, and from the centre hangs a reproduction of the Victoria Cross. The hermitage of Santa Cruz also stands out due to the age of the structure, built on a dolmen in 437. It was rebuilt by King Favila in 737 to guard the Victoria Cross.
You can visit both the exterior and the interior of the Sotón Well. The visitor will visit part of the facilities and learn about the different machines and tools used in the mining works. During the tour, the guides will explain the different mining methods used in the more than one hundred years of history of the shaft. During their walk, tourists will have the feeling that HUNOSA's miners have taken the mine to the street so that they can get to know it without having to go down to the shaft, with less difficulty.
If there is something we can boast about in this area is our cider, our pomaradas and our llagares.
A tour visiting the cider press and the family winery where Emilio Trabanco began to produce his first liters of cider, back in 1925.
A walk that will take us to get lost in the corners that give life to our best cider, under the foundations of the family house, the stone and the old barrels, the smell of apples and ferments, which will accompany us on a journey into the past to discover the traditional production of natural cider.
A short walk through Lavandera, enjoying the landscape, the ethnography and contemplating the orchards, will take us to our winery Túnel de la Sidra, located inside an old railway tunnel built at the end of the 19th century, and that today keeps more than a million liters of cider, in addition to the family museum.
The route includes a stretch of steep slope that could be an inconvenience for people with mobility difficulties.
We will finish the experience with a small course on cider pouring and a tasting of our barrel cider.
Get to the final stage of the popular Camino de Santiago, destination for thousands of pilgrims every year. This charming city well deserves a visit.
Take a day to get to know the Costa da Morte and the most rugged Atlantic coast facade in Galicia. The tour passes through three villages of the southern part of the Coast of Death: Muros, Finisterre and Muxía.
Discover places of unique and stately beauty as Ponte Maceira.
The next stop is Muros, which has the privilege of owning an authentic marine quarter. Most of these quarters of the coast succumbed to the decadence and degradation and later at the urban development pressure. Muros, with its beautifully restored old town, maintained its original image and now is its own sign of identity against the excesses of the coastline.
The next stop is Ézaro in the extreme south of the Coast of Death. The waterfall of Ézaro is the only one of Europe that flows into the sea, so that makes it an unusual place worth visiting.
The next stop on the road comes at Finisterre, since ancient times, this place was considered by the Romans to be the end of the earth. Here you can enjoy stunning views of the cliffs, brave the waters of the Atlantic, and also take some free time for lunch in the town of Finisterre.
After lunch, the journey reaches its last stop Muxía, a typical fishing village well known for its Virxe da Barca sanctuary, a baroque building built in the 11th-century chapel with a balcony facing towards the sea.

More than showing you the city we will make you understand it
While it may be fun to be in the city center for a while, itʼs much more fun to be able to get out of the overcrowded areas and dive in the real Lisbon.

In this tour we give you an indepth view of this growing capital while seeing the best views around and exploring the most exciting areas, street art, food and knowing its people.
Enjoy and experience the magic of the Fado, the Lisbon typical song, considered Worldʼs Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
The food is not the most important thing in these places but the spectacle of Fado. Some recommendations:
Coracao de Alfama
Esquina de Alfama
Aviela do Fado
Parreirinha de Alfama
Mesa de Frades
Take a day to head to a natural park just 25 minutes outside of Lisbon.
Our AMBASSADOR will give you an overview of both the Unesco World Heritage sites of Sintra, but also some less known spots to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of the magical moon hill.
A drive by some beaches and a stop in Cabo da Roca, to take in the views over the rough Atlantic Ocean followed by a scenic drive along the coast of Cascais and Estoril will make a great escape, at your own pace.
Get ready to explore the natural treasures of the Caves hidden along the beautiful Algarve coast.
Your 1 hour guided Benagil Boat Tour will start from Armação de Pêra.
Come aboard a new, comfortable boat where our friendly crew will take you to discover this incredible coastline. We will pass through 10 more caves and about 15 wild beaches, many only accessible by the sea!
The coastline between Armação de Pêra and Benagil is simply beautiful and definitely worth the trip! Make sure you bring your camera to capture the unique landscape of this region.
The highlight of this tour will definitely be the incredible Benagil cave. Be sure not to miss out.
The Algarve is the southernmost region of Portugal, known for its white-washed fishing villages, dramatic sea cliffs, and gorgeous beaches. Is consistently rated as one of the best beach destinations in Europe.
Lagos is a town in southern Portugal's Algarve region. Itʼs known for its walled old town, cliffs and Atlantic beaches. Steep wooden steps lead to the sandy cove of Praia do Camilo. The nearby cliffs of Ponta de Piedade offer sweeping headland views and a lighthouse. Igreja de Santo António, an ornate 18th-century church, sits across from the Castelo dos Governadores, a castle with a baroque facade and watchtowers.
Self guided
Walk the capital and largest city of Andalusia. Situated on the lower reaches of the River Guadalquivir it is a popular destination for tourists.

The Plaza de España, not to be missed, holds images of every province of Spain represented in a mosaic with one of its main characteristics. The bullring or the Casa Pilatos are other must-see without forgetting the María Luisa Park.
You must also visit the Santa Cruz (historic district) and, of course, the Triana district, where the Flamenco dancers and the bullfighters originated

We will stop at The Castle of Las Aguzaderas, an interesting medieval building which is located at the old border line among Catholic kingdom and Moorish kingdom.
After that, we will continue through the mountains until arriving to the white village of Zahara de la Sierra. After exploring the streets, we will set off for Sierra de Grazalema. On the way, we will drive through the Natural Park Sierra de Grazalema that offers you a range of amazing landscapes and views over the provinces of Cádiz, Malaga, Seville, as well as Puerto de las Palomas which is 1157 meters above sea level. We also get the chance to witness vultures in their natural habitat due to the fact that these mountains are home to the largest colony of Griffon vultures in Spain.
Once in Grazalema, you will have time to enjoy a nice meal, surrounded by the picturesque white houses decorated with colorful flowers.
After lunch, we will leave Grazalema and head to Ronda, on the way we will cross a very beautiful Mediterranean forest full of cork trees and oaks. Where up to this day locals still work with its cattle (iberian pigs, goats and cows), to extract honey, cork, aromatic spices or wood.
After an exciting morning, we will reach Ronda, one of the oldest towns in Spain. It is unique for its natural surrounding and history. It was built on two different cliffs so the town is connected by the most famous bridge in Spain, known as ―The New Bridge even though it was built in 18th century.
Our guide tour will take you around the city and explain you about its rich history. After that, you will have free time to explore the townʼ ́s beauty.
The city of Cordoba, located on the banks of the Guadalquivir, was the capital of the province of Betica during the Roman Empire and the Caliphate of Cordoba. The history of Cordoba has left us with architectural wonders such as the Mosque-Cathedral, the Roman Bridge and the old Jewish Quarter, among others.
Departing from Seville, Naturandaʼs guide will pick you up at one of the meeting points and take you to Carmona, a white village located only half an hour from the city and which deserves a short stop to admire its beauty.
After this short guided tour, we will set off for Cordoba, where we will arrive after approximately one hour of travel.
Once we arrive at our main destination, we will take a guided tour on foot through the historical centre of the city, visiting such significant monuments.
We will walk through the most significant streets of the city, passing by the Roman Bridge, the old Jewish quarter, the Royal Stables and the Cordoba Synagogue (closed on Mondays). We will also take a short walk through the famous and colourful Cordoba courtyards which will give us the opportunity to take wonderful photographs, which will always remain as one of the most beautiful memories of this excursion to Cordoba.
After getting to know the historical centre of Cordoba we will take a short break on our tour to enjoy Cordobaʼs cuisine as recommended by our guide, or enjoy your own lunch or picnic if you wish. You will also enjoy some free time in case you want to do some shopping.
After lunch, and to put the finishing touch to our day trip, we will visit the beautiful Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984. There, visitors will have enough time to enjoy this wonderful architectural monument, created in its origins for the Muslim cult, and which represents one of the main jewels of the historical and architectural heritage of Andalusia.

I suggest you to take a walk through the gothic quarter, maybe visit the boqueria market and the cathedral. I would visit one of the many works of Gaudi in town.
If it is a sunny day I'd choose the Parc Güell, which is a great open sky space full of his works. If the day is cloudy or rainy I would suggest either the Sagrada Familia or the Casa Mila. Both great.
Please think about this before traveling, maybe a week before, and check the weather forecast, you may need to get tickets in advance. Sometimes, specially in high season, it can be difficult to get tickets the same day.
Join us on a comprehensive guided tour of Barcelonaʼs major highlights, with skip-the-line access to Gaudi´s world-famous masterpieces: La Sagrada Familia and Park Güell. As founder of Hidden in Spain, I am focused on high quality service. My passion for traveling has taken me to different destinations in America, Africa, Europe and Asia where I have been able to enrich my life with other cultures and people. During these trips I found an uncovered need. Most of the companies offered fixed and preplanned experiences to see the most touristic places everywhere but I was far from discovering the REAL country.
Thatʼs why I started this company, to offer real tailor made tours through Spain and let people discover the country as if they were traveling with a native guy showing them everything, not only the most touristic places but also all those off-the-beaten paths they wouldnʼt see if no one tell them about and the way people live in this wonderful country.
I also love skiing, watching sports, talking to friends (I mean real chats, not through social media), reading books and spending time with my wife and kids.
My other passion is marketing. Thatʼs why I have a bachelor in advertising and public relations and a Master in Marketing Management. I also got my Master in International Sales, both of them at ESIC in Spain.
And I couldnʼt forget, I am a passionate of beer!!! I love it!! I have tried more than 200 different beers from more than 20 different countries so far!! And counting up…
